Microsoft to unbundle Office and Teams globally following years-long criticism


Microsoft will introduce a brand new model of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 subscription service that excludes Teams, unbundling a collection following scrutiny from the European Union regulator and complaints from rival Slack.

The transfer follows Microsoft agreeing to promote Office 365 suite sans Microsoft Teams providing within the EU and Switzerland final 12 months. The firm launched Teams as a complimentary providing to the Office 365 suite in 2017.
