SEC accuses Truth Social auditor of fraud, bars it from accounting work


The auditor for former president Donald Trump’s media firm was charged with “large fraud” Friday by the Securities and Exchange Commission, which accused the agency of being a “sham audit mill” whose failures put buyers in danger.

The auditor, BF Borgers, and its proprietor, Benjamin Borgers, agreed to a everlasting suspension from accounting work and to pay $14 million in civil penalties, federal regulators stated.
